Not going down without a fight! Tennis stars Venus Williams and Camila Giorgi get aggressive as they battle it out on the court at the Australian

They’re two of the biggest tennis stars in the world.

So it comes as no surprise that Venus Williams, 34, and Camila Giorgi, 23, both brought their A-game on Saturday

The American tennis player whipped her racquet back and forth, putting some force in her swing.

At one point, she even clenched her teeth, clearly caught up in the moment and eager to win.

The former world number one still managed to look stylish while working up a sweat, stepping out in a white and blue ensemble with Nike sneakers.

She also sported a polished grey manicure, along with a sun hat and dainty silver necklace.

Italian sportswoman Camila showed off her tan as she twisted her body across the court.

She donned a paisley patterned dress, complete with a blue collar.

Not willing to give up without a fight, the tennis player tried her hardest to defeat Venus, who has been playing since she was a child.

And it looks like Venus’ experience paid off, as the talent fought back for a hard-fought 4-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 victory in two hours and 26 minutes.

Wimbledon 2011 was the last time Williams reached the fourth round of one of the four major tournaments but now, after being hampered by illness and injury in recent years, she has a shot at reaching the quarter-finals when she takes on sixth seed Agnieszka Radwanska on Monday.

Williams, the No 18 seed, said: ‘That feels fantastic especially when things happen in your life which are out of your control.

‘I just kept thinking I’ll have some chances at some point. I felt like finally in the second set I started to understand how to compete against her.’
