Queen City Championship
Lydia Ko fired a bogey-free 9-under 63 on Sunday to claim her 22nd career LPGA title at the Kroger Queen City LPGA Championship.
The 27-year-old New Zealand native entered Sunday’s finale two back of overnight leader Jeeno Thitikul (70) of Thailand. Through nine holes, the newly-minted Olympic Gold medalist remained a shot back of the Thai. But just four holes later, after Ko reeled off two birdies and an eagle, she was suddenly up three shots and never looked back.
Ko finished her final day at TPC River’s Bend with seven birdies and an eagle to sign for a 23-under total.
