The earnings of PGA Tour caddies are often a topic of discussion among fans, and there is no direct way to know the exact figures. However, Ben Silverman’s caddie, Bryan Kopsick, publicly shared his earnings for the 2024 season on social media.
Kopsick has been caddying for Silverman for over three years, helping the Canadian golfer secure a PGA Tour card through the Korn Ferry Tour. The duo also achieved a T4 finish at the Procore Championship a couple of weeks ago.
On Monday, November 3, Kopsick explained his pay in simple terms. He stated that he received 8% of Silverman’s earnings plus a $2,000 bonus for each of the 24 events they played. His total earnings for the season amounted to $149,007.92. He clarified that this figure excludes sponsorship, off-course income, and travel expenses.
Silverman went winless for four years before partnering with Kopsick. After a year and a half of hard work, the duo won the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic in 2023, and Silverman earned a spot on the PGA Tour for the third time in his career and the first time since 2018.
The 36-year-old golfer made 25 starts this year, successfully making 18 cuts. He recorded seven top-25 finishes and tied for fourth at Silverado Country Club. He is 106th in the FedEx Cup Fall standings and will try to remain in the top 125 to retain his card.
