After finishing T68 with Rory McIlroy at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, Jordan Spieth told the Associated Press he was going to have surgery on his wrist during the offseason.
On Saturday, Spieth posted a message on his X account confirming the procedure. He indicated that the surgery went smoothly and that he was focused on his rehab.
Spieth has been dealing with the left wrist issue since May 2023, and it has affected his results. His last victory came in a playoff win over Patrick Cantlay at the 2022 RBC Heritage.
In 2024, Spieth has recorded three top-10s, with his last coming in the Open Championship at Troon, where he tied at T8 with Cantlay and Bryson DeChambeau.
