The wrist injury first appeared ahead of last year’s PGA Championship, when Spieth was once again aiming to complete a career grand slam.Spieth suffers a torn sheath in his left wrist, and the recovery is slated to take about 3 months with intense physical therapy.
The father of two added that recovery for the operation takes roughly 12 weeks, and he is eyeing an outside chance to be ready in time for the Hero World Challenge in December—providing he remains among the top 50 in the world—it appears that the Dallas resident has to have surgery by the end of the month.
