Wonderful: Nelly Korda teeing up for recovery

Nelly Korda’s recent health issues have been a subject of concern in the golf world. In March, she suffered a potentially life-threatening blood clot that was two centimeters from her heart, requiring immediate medical attention. Her coach, Jamie Mulligan, revealed that PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan helped Korda get emergency care, and she underwent a procedure that lasted nearly three hours.
Korda later expressed annoyance that her coach shared details about her condition without her permission, feeling that the story was “blown out of proportion.” Despite this, she has shown resilience and determination, crediting a more relaxed attitude for her success after returning to the game.
Korda’s health struggles have taken a toll on her mental well-being, and she’s emphasized the importance of having a support system to cope with the pressures of professional golf. Unfortunately, her health issues have forced her to reevaluate her priorities, and she recently announced her retirement from professional golf due to ongoing health concerns.
