Jordan Spieth Set to Return to 2025 Travelers Championship, Site of Iconic 2017 Win

Jordan Spieth, a 13-time PGA Tour champion and winner of three major titles, has confirmed his participation in the 2025 Travelers Championship. The tournament will take place at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.

Spieth created one of the most memorable moments in the event’s history during his first appearance in 2017. He clinched the title by sinking a dramatic bunker shot in a playoff against Daniel Berger, a highlight that still resonates with golf fans.

“Jordan has been a standout on the PGA TOUR since turning pro,” said Andy Bessette, Executive Vice President at Travelers. “His thrilling victory in 2017 was a perfect introduction to Connecticut fans, and he continues to be one of the game’s most exciting players.”

This year’s event will mark Spieth’s sixth time competing in the Travelers. While he won in 2017, his more recent finishes include 63rd last year, 54th in 2020, and 42nd in 2018. He failed to make the cut in both 2019 and 2022.

Currently ranked 51st in the Official World Golf Ranking, Spieth will look to recapture his past form at a course that once delivered one of the most dramatic victories of his career.
