Jordan Spieth Honors His Promise to Fan Despite Disastrous TPC Sawgrass Results, Leaving Golf World Impressed

Throughout the ups and downs, it is the reaction that counts. For instance, Collin Morikawa snubbed the media after his heartbreaking second-time runner-up finish this year. He was in the headlines for his harsh words. However, now Jordan Spieth has shown the opposite despite his performance at the PLAYERS. Spieth, who struggled with a wrist injury last year, hasn’t been in the best of form since his comeback.

In the 2025 season, he had mixed results across five events. His best finishes were T4 at the WM Phoenix Open and T9 at the Cognizant Classic. However, the 13-time PGA Tour winner struggled elsewhere, finished T69 at the AT&T Pebble Beach and missing cuts at the Genesis Invitational and The Players.

In the third round, the golfer was 4 under till the 14th hole. However, the blunder on the 15th cost him two strokes, resulting in a nine-stroke difference from the leaders. This mistake left the golfer swinging the club in frustration like a baseball bat. The golf world assumed the golfer left frustrated, but he showcased another side to the fans, which left the world praising him. A video on Instagram showcased how Jordan Spieth before the blunder refused to sign the Masters bib of the fan saying, “After the round, I am locked in.”
