Following a missed cut at the Genesis Invitational last week, Jordan Spieth revealed that the challenging setup at Torrey Pines caused issues with his problematic wrist.
Having recently returned from tendon surgery on his left wrist, which cut his 2024 season short, Spieth has shown promising signs. The 31-year-old golfer achieved his best PGA Tour result in over a year at the WM Phoenix Open earlier this month, finishing in a tie for fourth place.
However, the three-time major winner’s momentum was disrupted in San Diego, where he failed to make the weekend after concluding the first two rounds at six-over-par. Despite playing three consecutive tournaments, Spieth remains optimistic.
