Nelly Korda is enjoying her time away from the golf course. The American golfer shared a picture this week as she enjoyed a TV show at night. A few weeks ago, Korda suffered a neck injury and withdrew from two LPGA Tour events scheduled to take place in Asia.
She is yet to make her return to professional events. While away from the greens, the World No. 1 enjoyed some time relaxing at home and watching a show. Korda shared a picture of herself watching “It’s Florida Man” on her Instagram stories. She posted a photo of her TV with the show’s name and captioned it,
Meanwhile, on the greens, Nelly Korda had been enjoying an impressive season before her injury. She competed in 14 tournaments this year and won six of them. She had a remarkable streak of winning five back-to-back events.
Her winning streak started at the LPGA Drive On Championship in January, followed by the FIR SeRi Pak Championship. Korda also won the Ford Championship, her third LPGA Tour win in a row, followed by two more consecutive tournament wins, the T-Mobile Match Play and the Chevron Championship.
Her next win came at the Mizuho Americas Open. She played four rounds of 70, 68, 65, and 71 to win the LPGA Tour event, marking her sixth win of the season. However, after such an amazing season, she experienced some lows. She went on to miss three consecutive LPGA Tour events before regaining her form at the Amundi Evian Championship, where she finished in T26 place.
Nelly Korda returns to the practice range
After being away from the greens for a while, Nelly Korda has begun her practice sessions. She shared a picture and a video clip on Monday, October 28. Taking to her Instagram stories, the American golfer wrote:
“Cleared to start practicing.”

Korda was scheduled to join the field at the BMW Ladies Championship, but a neck injury forced her to withdraw from the competition. She has also not played in the Maybank Championship. Speaking about her withdrawal from the competitions, Korda said
