Nelly Korda is world No. 1 as of March 2024; she recently won the LPGA Drive On Championship, defeating Lydia Ko in a playoff with a score of 273, under 11. Korda won with par on the second extra hole; this was her ninth LPGA tour win and 14th overall.

Korda won the gold medal in the women’s individual golf tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Alongside her sister Jessica Korda, she competed for the United States in the Solheim Cups in 2019 and 2021, as well as in 2023. She also took home the Women’s PGA Championship in 2021.
